Alexander holds a Masters degree in Business Management and a diploma in Business Education from the University of St.Gallen. He works as an IT Product Manager at a Swiss eyewear startup. Being one of the co-founders and a former president of the Business Game St.Gallen, he has left his marks on the case competition. Alexander believes that business education is most effective when experienced in practice. That is why he wants to remain involved in the future development of the Business Game St.Gallen and support the organizing team with his IT know-how.
Tania is passionate about human interaction, communication, and connecting people. That is why she decided to join an Executive Search company upon completing her studies in Business Management at the University of St.Gallen. Tania was one of the co-founders and main drivers of the Business Game St.Gallen and holds the project close to her heart. As the former relationship manager of the BGSG she is more than happy to share her accumulated experience with the future teams and is excited to see how the initiative will develop in the future.
Before joining the University of St.Gallen, Prof. Laamanen was a Professor for Strategic Management and the Director of the Institute of Strategy at Aalto University, Finland (1997-2011). Prof. Laamanen holds two D.Sc. degrees, one in Strategy and one in Finance. His research focuses on strategic management with a special emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, management cognition, strategy process, capability dynamics, and management’s cognition. In addition, Tomi has actively worked with a number of firms in different roles as chairman, member of the board, or consultant.
Prof. Laamanen was a juror for the Business Game St.Gallen 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
Having joined the faculty in 2004, Prof. Reinecke is now the academic director of the English track of the Master of Arts in Marketing, Services and Communication Management and of the PhD programme in Marketing. In 2014, he has been Visiting Associate Professor at the Center of Design Research of Stanford University (Palo Alto CA, USA).
Prof. Reinecke’s main research interests are strategic marketing, marketing management control, pricing, product innovation and customer retention management.
Beyond his teaching activities at the University of St. Gallen, Sven Reinecke is also active as a lecturer for executive education at several leading European universities. He is chairman of the board of MPM Market Performance Management St.Gallen AG and member of the board of directors of Genossenschaft Olma Messen St. Gallen.
Prof. Reinecke was a juror for the Business Game St.Gallen in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Prof. Evenett’s research focuses on the factors determining the intensity of competition in emerging markets, on the effects of competition law and policy on firms behaviour, and on the analysis of existing and proposed agreements at the World Trade Organization. Prof. Evenett has published a number of books and has, in addition, edited many book chapters and articles. His research is taught at dozens of universities around the world.
Prof. Evenett obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University and a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cambridge. He has taught at the University of Oxford, the University of Michigan Business School, and at Rutgers University. In addition, Prof. Evenett has served as a World Bank official and is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow in the Economics Studies programme of the Brookings Institution.
Prof. Evenett was a keynote speaker and Eloquence Final juror for both the Business Game St.Gallen 2014 & 2015.
