Philip holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Berne and is currently doing his Master in Accounting & Finance at the University of St.Gallen. He has experience in project management, event management, and is well-versed in editorial work.
Besides studying Philip is passionate about music and plays anything that somehow resembles a guitar. A dose of good humour, spending time with friends or enjoying a good game of basketball are some of his other favourite things.
Sara Rodrigues Almeida
Co-President | Head of Relations
Sara holds a Bachelor degree from the University of St.Gallen and has gathered throughout her studies work experience in strategy, project management and marketing. She also ventured into the start-up field with a sharing-economy-based project.
Sara is a connaisseur of good food and also loves to experiment in the kitchen. Next to her studies she enjoys fun time spent with friends and family.
Head of Marketing
Sandra is currently working on her Bachelor thesis, which is the final hurdle before obtaining her Bachelor degree in Business Administration. At the same time, she is doing an internship in marketing communication at Huber+Suhner for half a year.
She has worked for one year as technical buyer, where she learned to operate under pressure, get along with currency fluctuations and to bargain with suppliers from all over the world. In her free time, she teaches physical education to children and does horse riding. These two tasks consistently give proof of her leadership skills.
Head of Operations
Nathanaël is currently completing his second Bachelor year in Economics at the University of St.Gallen. He supported the BGSG last year as a volunteer and already helped organize other student projects at the University of St.Gallen. He has experience in organization and coordination and is our assurance that all the logistic of the event will run smoothly.
Nathanaël is passionate about discovering new cultures and does so any time he gets the opportunity. He just returned from a volunteer project in Nepal. He is one of the representatives on our team from the french speaking part of Switzerland, and proof that the “Röstigraben” does not exist within the BGSG.
Piyush is from India and is completing his Master in Strategy and International Management at the University of St.Gallen. He has an engineering background and has previously worked in the automotive industry. While he is very interested in marketing related cases, he enjoys solving all kinds of cases.
He is enthusiastically interested in cars, technology, photography, poetry and singing! He may even teach you some Bollywood moves, if you ask him nicely!
Máté is a software developer and IT consultant from Hungary with many years of experience in designing and building complex applications. As a freelancer he has worked on lots of IT projects in the past and will use his experience to make sure our systems run smoothly during the event. Having earned a Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting, he is now doing his Master in Banking and Finance at the University of St.Gallen.
As a pragmatic thinker with a no-nonsense mentality, Máté likes to quickly get to the point in discussions and strives to always have an understanding of the big picture before delving into the details. In his free time he likes hiking in the Swiss Alps, spending time with friends and binge-watching his favorite TV shows.
Daniel is currently doing his Bachelor degree in Business Administration at the University of St.Gallen. He has gained some experience in marketing and sales in retailing.
Next to his studies, Daniel is active as a triathlete out of which he formed more than just a passion. He has also been active as a swim coach. Besides his main activity, he likes taking on new challenges, like the ascension of the Matterhorn.

Aaron Chatrath is currently studying in his third semester at the University of St. Gallen, pursuing a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Working at hotels made him a service-minded person and keen of needs of people from different cultural backgrounds.
In his free time he enjoys doing sports and hiking to enjoy beautiful landscapes. Furthermore, he has a weakness for street food and sweets of all kind.
Carolyne is currently completing the fifth semester of her Bachelor in Business Administration in Florence, Italy. She has been part of the event’s volunteer team for the past two years. Carolyne grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, with an American mother and a Swiss father. She speaks French, English, Italian and is working on her German. She has gained experience in communication, service and reception through internships and events.
In her free time, she enjoys figure skating, painting, reading and photography.

Lisa holds a Bachelor degree in International Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and is currently doing her Master in Marketing, Services and Communication Management at the University of St.Gallen. She has experience in marketing, market research, real estate and executive search.
In her free time Lisa likes to explore new cultures by travelling. She is an enthusiastic snowboarder, diver and loves to read a good book.
Social Media Responsible
Michaela holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen. Currently she is doing an internship before starting with her Master degree. She is experienced with social media, marketing and e-commerce.
In her free time Michaela is a fashion blogger and a creative spirit. She loves to travel the world and express her creativity in multiple ways.
Jean-Christophe is currently doing his Bachelor degree in Business Administration at the University of St.Gallen. After being part of the media team at both the 2014 and 2015 edition of the BGSG, Jean-Christophe soon decided to be a part of the organizing team for the 2016 event. He has experience in photography and film and will make sure to capture every precious moment of our event.
In his free time he likes to discover and experience new sports, new music and new places. As another representative from the french speaking part of Switzerland, Jean-Christophe makes sure that the beautiful language called French does not go forgotten in our team.
Campus Representative | Volunteer Responsible
Eveline is currently doing her Bachelor degree in International Affairs at the University of St.Gallen. To gain some work experience, she is currently working at a language school.
Besides studying Eveline spends her free time dancing as part of a hip hop crew and pulling the strings of her guitar. She also likes to bake cakes once in a while if there are enough people around to eat them.
Haxhere is doing her Bachelor in Business Administration at the University of St.Gallen. Currently she is gathering work experience as an intern in management qualification.
Haxhere loves fashion and loves being inspired in her daily life. Furthermore, in her free time she likes to read, and is a big fan of „And the Mountains Echoed.”

The Alliance of European Business Games
The Business Game St.Gallen is a member of the Alliance of European Business Games. Initiated by the Solvay Business Game in Belgium, the association aims to establish Business Game in various countries all across Europe. Other members of the alliance are the Solvay Business Game , the HEC Business Game, and two Business Games in UK and Portugal that will be launched soon.
