Nespresso is a premium coffee company, driven by innovation at every level. This innovation has enabled the brand to succeed in creating an entirely new market for portioned coffee, delivering superb, highest quality coffee within our wide range of Grands Crus. Indeed, Nespresso has become not only the benchmark within its own sector, but also a reference point for quality and exclusivity for high-end consumer brands worldwide.
At the heart of its value-added proposition, Nespresso recognizes the challenges of living in a world of constrained resources in which ”business as usual” is no longer an option for a successful enterprise. Thus, the core strategy of Nespresso is to produce and sell the highest quality Grand Cru coffees while Creating Shared Value (CSV) for coffee farmers, business partners and consumers.
A pioneer in high-quality coffee and espresso machines, Nespresso has sought to be equally innovative in its end to end approach to sustainability. Entitled The Positive Cup, the strategy is based on the Nestlé approach to Creating Shared Value (CSV) and builds upon the significant steps that Nespresso has already taken over the last five years to improve farmer welfare and drive environmental sustainability in coffee sourcing and consumption. With The Positive Cup, Nespresso has set ambitious sustainability targets to meet by 2020. The focus is set on the areas of coffee sourcing and social welfare; aluminum sourcing, use and disposal; and resilience to climate change.

Zurich Insurance – Challenge Partner
About Zurich Insurance
Founded in Switzerland in 1872, Zurich is one of the world’s most experienced insurers. Our customers choose Zurich to protect the people and things they love because they value our knowledge, expertise and stability. Zurich has three core business segments – General Insurance, Global Life, and Farmers.
We operate globally and locally, according to our customers’ needs. We deliver insurance products and services in more than 170 countries.
Zurich Switzerland offers graduates and students various possibilities to start with Zurich, such as the Zurich Trainee Program (ZTP), internships, dissertations or direct entry.
Zurich Trainee Program
In the Zurich Trainee Program (ZTP), graduates enhance their knowledge and skills through various placements and a diverse training program. An introductory week is followed by six months in their future role. Placements in an adjacent area (duration: five months) and in a general agency (duration: four months) allow them to learn all about the market and the front line. At the end of the program they have deep insights into the core business. During the last three months of the program, participants return to work in their preferred future role. We seek a long-term working relationship with our trainees. It is therefore important to us ensure our future managers and specialists have in-depth knowledge about insurance. Various networking events are thus also an important aspect here, to enable them to establish a large cross-divisional network. Seminars, training courses and events are spread across the 18-month program, build on each other and prepare the participant in every respect to face the challenges in their new environment. Our candidates have completed their studies with above-average results and gained their first practical experience. We are looking for committed individuals who want to bring in and implement new ideas, who are interested in the insurance industry and who, above all, are prepared to learn all about the insurance business from the bottom up. In return we offer varied, thorough training and excellent career opportunities in an attractive and dynamic professional field.
Interning with us lets you translate theoretical knowledge acquired during your studies into practice for a period of between 3 and 12 months. Not only will you gain valuable professional experience and explore various departments, an internship helps you build your network and puts you on the best path to a subsequent permanent role and the start of your career.
